Welcome to Claws & Paws
We're so glad you're considering us for your pet's care. Whether you're new to the area or just looking for a vet that treats your pet like their own, here's everything you need to know before your first visit so you can walk in feeling right at home.
HOW IT WORKS

You'll get a warm welcome email with a link to sign your New Client Consent Form — sign it ahead of time so check-in is quick.
4
Come prepared to your appointment
Arrive early to your appointment and bring your driver's license then leave the rest to us.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
Arrive Early
Arriving at least 10–15 minutes early gives you a chance to finish any paperwork.
A warm welcome
Our front desk gets you checked in. Don't worry, there's no cold, clinical waiting room.
A gentle, thorough exam
Your vet does a full nose-to-tail check and takes time to get to know your pet.
A real conversation
We go over your pet's history and build a care plan together.
Time for your questions
First visits are for getting to know each other. Ask us anything at all.
COMPLETE YOUR NEW PATIENT FORM
Filling out your new patient info ahead of time means less waiting and more time with your vet.

Payment Options
Payment is due at the time of service. We keep quality care affordable and try to make paying for it easy. We accept:
-
Cash
-
All major credit & debit cards
We don't accept checks or CareCredit — skipping those extra processing fees is one more way we keep our prices lower for you.
Pet Insurance
Pet insurance can be a wonderful safety net, and we're glad to support it.
Like most clinics, we don't bill insurers directly. You'll pay at the time of service, and we'll provide a detailed, itemized receipt you can submit to your provider for reimbursement. Questions about what your plan covers? We're happy to help you track down the info you need.
