Across the country, veterinary clinics are quietly being swallowed by corporate chains and private equity with owners who've never met a patient and never intend to.
Claws & Paws isn't on that menu, and never will be. We're locally owned, owner-run, and accountable to exactly two priorities: you, and the animal currently shedding on our exam table.
We have built this place on one stubborn conviction: that excellent medicine and honest prices aren't mutually exclusive, whatever your last vet bill implied. Years later, it's still the same doctors, the same faces, and the same refusal to treat your pet like a line item.

We've watched Middleburg grow up around us, welcomed puppies who became grey-muzzled seniors, sat with people through the hardest goodbyes, and celebrated more good news than we could ever count.
We've always believed this work is a calling, that we've been entrusted with something precious, and that caring well for people and their animals is how we're meant to spend our days. So we show up. We mentor students on the long road to vet school, stand with local rescues, and we're building a calendar of gatherings to bring neighbors and their pets together.
Faith, family, and this community are the foundation Claws & Paws was built on.
