OUR POLICIES

A few policies help us keep appointments available and prices fair for everyone.

Cancellation & no-show policy

Because last-minute cancellations and no-shows keep other pets from being seen, we ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance (not counting after-hours, weekends, or holidays). New clients: if you don't confirm your appointment at least 24 hours ahead (by text, email, or phone), we'll automatically cancel it — and it counts as a first late cancellation/no-show under the terms below. First no-show: if you miss your first visit, future appointments will require non-refundable prepayment of the office visit (refunded only with 24+ hours' notice). Your account is reviewed again after one year. Two within a year: after two late cancellations or no-shows in a year, future appointments require non-refundable prepayment of the office visit (refunded only with 24+ hours' notice). This resets one year after the last occurrence.

Surgery & dental deposits

All surgery and dental appointments require a $50 deposit, refundable only if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance (excluding after-hours, weekends, and holidays). If a surgery or dental appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice or no-showed, rescheduling will require a deposit equal to the base estimate of the procedure — again refundable only with 48+ hours' notice.

Appointment confirmations

We'll reach out by text, email, and/or phone at least 24 hours before a regular appointment, and at least 48 hours before a surgery or dental appointment (excluding weekends and holidays), to confirm. Please respond — it helps us plan and keep things running smoothly. Note that no response does not count as a cancellation; you'll still need to cancel properly to avoid the policy above.
